ABOUT US
There are various biological systems in the natural and artificial environments. In our laboratory, we are conducting research aimed at improving the functions of biological systems based on biochemical engineering. The biological system to be studied is a system (complex microbial system) composed of a wide variety of microorganisms. We are working on identifying the causative microorganisms that influence the function of the system and developing methods to specifically control them. Mr. Ishizuka, Mr. Ooishi, and Mr. Fujii completed the Master course. Mr. Izumika, Mr. Okabe, Ms. Sasaki, and Ms. Motoyama graduated from the undergraduate program. Ms. Sasaki won the good presentation award for her graduation research in Chemistry Applications Program.
